Møn Sommerkoncert is a newly started concert series on the island of Møn.

Consisting of four concerts, the first edition of Møn Summer Concert started in 2018, in the old sugar factory, which is located in Stege, the largest town on the island.

 

Møn Sommerkoncert is born out of a common idea between violinist Niklas Walentin, who has grown up on Møn, and his family. Along with his former agent, friends and family, they have the desire to provide the highest level of classical music, especially chamber music, to residents and guests of all ages on Møn, and surrounding area. The musicians are all close friends of the artistic director, Niklas Walentin. He grew up on the eastern Møn, and despite his young age, Niklas Walentin is already an established soloist and chamber musician with an international career.
