Experience a high power concert with some of the largest combinations written in the chamber music litteratur.
It will be a true blast when young professional artists from all over the World form the Soundscape Festival Ensemble together with Internationally established artists.
Together, they present a program which is a rare chance to experience some of the biggest chamber music pieces ever written.

Festival Ensemble
Soundscape Festival Ensemble is formed of skillful young artists, who are already considered to be in demand Internationally as virtuoso musicians and dancers.
Following these participants' successful auditions, they gather from around the world to spend their week on Møn, where they work together, performing side by side with our tutors, create brand new choreography with our dance tutor and much more.
The result of their intense work is showcased in Chamber Gala and Gran Gala.

Nabil Shehata
Nabil Shehata is the Chief conductor of the Philharmonie Südwestfalen since 2019 and music director of the Munich Chamber Opera since September 2011.
Nabil began his conducting career in 2006 after receiving instruction from Daniel Barenboim.
As a double bassist he is the winner of several international competitions including the ARD competition in Munich, where he received not only the first prize, but also the coveted audience prize. He has commissioned many double bass works from composers, including a concerto by Moritz Eggert.
From 2004 to 2008 he was the principal bassist of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, with whom he performed as a soloist under Daniel Barenboim.
Supporting young artists is of particular importance to Nabil Shehata, and he is strongly committed to the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, of which he has been a member for many years.
Pillippe Tondre
Phillipe Tondre is the winner of the ARD International Music Competition Munich in 2011, and recipient of the prestigious Beethoven Ring - a musical honor awarded by the Beethoven Fest in Bonn.
He made his debut at the Berlin Philharmonie in June 2013 playing the Bohuslav Martinu Concerto for Oboe, and in 2016 was appointed "Principal Oboe" of the Gewandhaus Orchester Leipzig.
In 2020 he was nominated for principal oboe in the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and in the same year he won the coveted position of principal oboe in the Philadelphia Orchestra with musical director Yannick Nézét-Séguin.
2022 marked his debut as a soloist at Carnegie Hall New York with the Orchestra of St. Luke's and his nomination as a professor at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

Karla Haltenwanger
As a soloist, Karla Haltenwanger has performed with orchestras such as the Berliner Symphoniker, the Berner Symphoniker and has performed in the Wigmore Hall, Cologne Philharmonic, Laeiszhalle, etc.
Her passion for chamber music led to the founding of the Boulanger Trio in 2006, an ensemble that now enjoys an international reputation.

From the collaboration with contemporary composers, the Boulanger Trio has developed its own concert series - Boulangerie - with concerts in Radialsystem Berlin, in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and in the Wiener Musikverein.

Alena Walentin
Alena Walentin is known as one of the most versatile young flutists and has an international career as a soloist, chamber musician and guest flutist with leading orchestras.
As a soloist, she performed duets and chamber music with Emmanuel Pahud, William Bennett OBE, Lorna McGhee and Denis Bouriakov. Alena is often has given numerous concerts in the major concert halls throughout Europe, North America and Asia.
Alena is a Flute and Chamber music teacher at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague (The Netherlands) and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (United Kingdom)

She is a member of Atéa Quintet, who are Double prize winners of the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition, and are an Associate Ensemble in Residence at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Niklas Walentin
Niklas Walentin has received more than 25 international music awards, is a three-time prize winner at the International Carl Nielsen competition in 2012, has released 6 albums and is the artistic director behind a number of festivals in Europe.
Niklas Walentin is also in international demand for his work as a teacher at masterclasses and his students regularly excel with critically acclaimed performances.​

Niklas is also a member of the award-winning ensemble Trio Vitruvi, which is the creator of the Reumert-winning 'Kammerballetten'.
In 2024, Niklas Walentin will publish his first jazz album, as well as the collected sonatas for violin and piano by Brahms for Naxos.
