Young masters: Showcase no. 1

Soundscape's "Young Masters" sees the participating musicians in the festival's "Masterclass & Festival Ensemble" present a specially selected solo repertoire.
Young musicians from all over the world come to Møn to work dedicatedly with classical music in an intimate collaboration through chamber music.
Each of them are convincing instrumentalists and their musicianship is to be enjoyed both in the concerts with the Festival Ensemble and when they appear as soloists at these concerts on the "Young masters" series.
Programme will be announced 15th of July.

Kresimir Lulic
Croatian accordionist Krešimir Lulić is a graduate of The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he completed his Bachelor and Master degrees.
During his studies he also took part in Erasmus program, studying at The Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland.
He performed various projects in Croatia and Europe as well as concerts in countries like Denmark, Austria, Serbia, Spain, Italy and other.
Throughout his career, he´s won numerous awards such as The International Accordion Competition Pula, Croatian Accordion Competition Daruvar, prestigious International Accordion Competition in Arrasate (Spain). As a part of a chamber music ensemble, he performed with the Croatian Philharmonic Orchestra. As a part of an ensemble, he played in opera performances in The Royal Danish Opera in Denmark and Playbox Theatre in the United Kingdom. He premiered new pieces written for accordion by Anders Skibsted and Alvaro Leoncio.
Ada Yucel
Ada Yalın Yücel, is a Turkish violinist born in 2005, who has already received a few awards, including first prize at the Silkway International Music Competition held in Georgia and first prize at the II. International Brussels Music Competition.
He was a student of Lily Tchumburidze at Mersin University State Conservatory of Music and Salvatore Accardo at Stauffer Academy “Artist Diploma” program. Ada continues his education in Germany with Dora Bratchkova at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts.
During his education, he attended many masterclasses and worked with many great artists: Niklas Walentin, Viktoria Mullova, Michael Barenboim, Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Boris Kuschnir, Nora Chastain, Mischa Maisky, Svetlin Roussev, Fedor Rudin, Igor Pikayzen...
He played as a soloist with the Mersin State Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Eskişehir Symphony Orchestra, MEU Chamber Orchestra in Mersin and performed at İş Sanat Stage.
Sebastian Pilz
Sebastian Pilz, born on 31 July 1999 in Munich, received his first cello lessons at the age of five. In the following years, he was a student of Manuel von der Nahmer, Ilia Yourivich Laporev, Aleksandr Khramouchin and Prof. Justus Grimm. Sebastian is currently studying in the class of Prof. Mathias Johansen (Feldkirch, Austria). Furthermore, he received important impulses at masterclasses with Steven Isserlis, Jérôme Pernoo, Troels Svane, Thomas Carroll and Valentin Radutiu.
Sebastian is a multiple prize winner of the prestigious competition "Jugend Musiziert" including a first prize in the solo category at national level.
As a member of the ODEON Youth Symphony Orchestra (sponsor orchestra of the Munich Philharmonic) he toured Europe and China.
Sebastian is very fond of chamber music and has performed with renowned artists such as Diana Kettler, Niklas Walentin, Lisa Jacobs and Razvan Popovici.
He plays an instrument by the French violin maker Christian Bayon.
