Soundscape by Møn Sommerkoncert opens its doors for the first time to its 7th edition with a very special recital featuring the award winning pianist Karla Haltenwanger from Trio Boulanger and our two Artistic directors, Alena & Niklas Walentin.
A Trio Tapestry programme consists of famous masterpieces by Brahms and Prokofiev, next to works by Rota, Beach and Bonis.

Alena Walentin
Alena Walentin is known as one of the most versatile young flutists and has an international career as a soloist, chamber musician and guest flutist with leading orchestras.
As a soloist, she performed duets and chamber music with Emmanuel Pahud, William Bennett OBE, Lorna McGhee and Denis Bouriakov. Alena is often has given numerous concerts in the major concert halls throughout Europe, North America and Asia.
She is a member of Atéa Quintet, who are Double prize winners of the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition, and are an Associate Ensemble in Residence at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Niklas Walentin
Niklas Walentin has received more than 25 international music awards, is a three-time prize winner at the International Carl Nielsen competition in 2012, has released 6 albums and is the artistic director behind a number of festivals in Europe.
Niklas Walentin is also in international demand for his work as a teacher at masterclasses and his students regularly excel with critically acclaimed performances.
Niklas is also a member of the award-winning ensemble Trio Vitruvi, which is the creator of the Reumert-winning 'Kammerballetten'.
In 2024, Niklas Walentin will publish his first jazz album, as well as the collected sonatas for violin and piano by Brahms for Naxos.
Karla Haltenwanger
As a soloist, Karla Haltenwanger has performed with orchestras such as the Berliner Symphoniker, the Berner Symphoniker and has performed in the Wigmore Hall, Cologne Philharmonic, Laeiszhalle, etc.
Her passion for chamber music led to the founding of the Boulanger Trio in 2006, an ensemble that now enjoys an international reputation.
From the collaboration with contemporary composers, the Boulanger Trio has developed its own concert series - Boulangerie - with concerts in Radialsystem Berlin, in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and in the Wiener Musikverein.
