Soundscape by Møn Sommerkoncert opens its doors for the first time to its 7th edition with a very special recital featuring the Award winning pianist Karla Haltenwanger from Trio Boulanger and our two Artistic directors, Alena & Niklas Walentin.

This program of eclectic harmonies consists of famous masterpieces by Brahms and Prokofiev, next to works by Rota, Beach and Bonis.

On our Young Master concerts, we leave the stage for each of them to present themselves and their music making.

Due to a high demand after their last collaboration and performance together on Soundscape, Ensemble Storstrøm (Danish Chamber Players) and Niklas Walentin will be teaming up again performing newly written works by Scandinavian composers as well as performing a piano quintet of a real impact - work by African-American female composer Florence Price.

Chamber Gala

Experience a high power concert with some of the largest combinations written in the chamber music litterature!

It will be a true blast when young professional artists from all over the world form the Soundscape Festival Ensemble together with Internationally established artists. 

Together, they present a program which is a rare chance to experience some of the biggest chamber music pieces ever written.

 

Grand Gala

Soundscape by Møn Sommerkoncert presents a new, intense experience where instrumental music, dance and opera melt together in an explosive symbiose.

In a new venue in Stege, "Den Bøhmiske Hal", some of the greatest dancers in the World will perform highlights from the classic ballet repertoire as well as brand new choreographies created especially for Soundscape.

Artists of "Grand Gala" are amongst others: Danish star ballerina Astrid Elbo, opera singer Peter Lohdal and, of course, the Soundscape Festival Ensemble
